Abigail Goben, MLS, is an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago University Library and a Data Policy Advisor for the UIC Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. Goben teaches courses in data management and evidence-based practice, and serves as the liaison to the College of Dentistry. Her research focuses on policies and education surround research data and student privacy and learning analytics. Goben is an active member of the Research Data Access and Preservation Association and the Association of College and Research Libraries.
